The main obstacles to the quality of education in Niger are:
• Poverty • Prejudices against girls • Low command of French language of instruction • Poorly trained teachers • Lack of textbooks and books • Overcrowded classes • Poor interaction between school and community • Inadequate physical infrastructure
The college Amadou Hampaté Bâ has chosen to tackle these obstacles in a proactive way and to engage all the teachers and staff of the college in a process of personal and collective transformation by promoting:
